. The Flyers continue to have a no quit mentality under Gordon. It’s great to see no matter what happens the rest of this season. |

Giroux playing 5 less minutes and with the flu is playing ten times better than Couturier. - SuperSchennBros
Agreed, because. |

Great! IF Hart starts every game and play like this. They have a shot in the dark chance |

Brashear, Emery, Simmonds.
I hate not having a tough black player on my team! - SuperSchennBros
I wouldn't mind having a tough player on the team, black or white. But they also need to bring something else to the table. Brasher was a 4th line enforcer, Emery had no lateral movement when he was here and while Simmonds was one of my favorites, he sure isn't lighting things up in Nashville. Looks slower there than he did here. |

How about trading Ghost for Nurse. You never know how stupid the Oilers can be trade wise. |

Nurse looks solid, like his game. Sanhiem may be able to fill Ghosts role. Although no one does a better job at keeping the puck in at the line, especially on the PP. |

I wasn't totally thrilled with the signing last summer but, man, JVR really has good instincts around the net. |

I've been deriving a bit of sick pleasure from watching the Pens fans in the stands in the replays of JVR's goal at 19 seconds left and Coots with 3.4 seconds in OT. |

Yeah, he has his moments. Just think what he could have done this year if he hadn't been hurt in game two. |

Just think of what he would have accomplished playing on G’s wing the last 5 years. Both players may have been on a different level. |

Hart with an outstanding game. - bird_dog_pa
Hart had an outstanding game but so did provy and sanheim! They look like a really solid combo going forward. I think they are both 22, privy may be 23, but geez.... they are still kids. And Myers... unreal.
I never thought I'd ever see the day philly has a homegrown D and a homegrown goalie. Holy (frank) |

awesome to see hart sharp and in the zone. if not for hagg being a sack of absolute steaming horse poop, he gets a goose egg.
gutsy win with 3 in 4 and on the road there. makes the loss against toronto all the more infuriating. had to expect the loss against the caps, but would have preferred to see elliott go there, and hart against ottawa, but it's done.
they're not gonna' make it, but christ i love beating the pens, especially like that in their building with crosby trailing on the winning goal. AGAIN.

That rebound goal was on Laughton. He was standing rite there and the guy skated past him and snagged the rebound. |

it was on hagg for turning it over and not getting back to the front of the net. laughton didn't help himself by not being aware of bleuger coming from behind, but at least he was there. |
