Good morning!
Bill is Morgan Frost eligible to play for his junior team in the playoffs or is he still suspended? If that’s the case will he play the rest of the season for the phantoms.
Who else might be available to help out the phantoms from juniors or overseas? |

Thanks for all of the great blogs and articles Bill. I was wondering why the Flyers seem so hesitant to play Cam Talbot? |

Yes, eligible for final game of the regular season plus the playoffs. Even if he were still suspended, couldn't just leave the Greyhounds to join the Phantoms until they are eliminated from the playoffs.
Any CHL player or European player could join the Phantoms on an ATO once their season is over. NCAA players would have to sign a contract and forfeit whatever remaining collegiate hockey eligibility they have.

I say we win today wvwb though it's too late
My dream is Morin smears Crosby across the glass and Malkin runs him and big sam choke slams malkin...
I'd buy a Morin Jersey tomorrow morning if he turns my fantasy into a reality |

Probably not bc some in the organization and fanbase have pipe dreams of the flyers making the playoffs.
Keep hitting that pipe, you dreamers, you |

Talbot is likely going to be re-signed, and will be paired with Hart next season. As for his sparse playing time since coming over from Edmonton, I can't really speak to that except to say that Elliott got hot for awhile at the right time and then Hart came back from injury. |

Morin also has missed the better part of two seasons (2/3 of last season and all but a 3-game conditioning assignment this year in which he understandably struggled). He might get in a few games by the end, but he really needs a full summer to compete on equal footing come training camp with everyone else. |

Hope for the playoffs appears to be gone but I'm happy they went down with a fight instead of accepting a lost season. The obvious reason is it will be better for the team's psyche moving forward. It should also attract better additions than a team in the tank.
When Quenneville and free agent players look at the Flyers they will see a team moving in the right direction, not one lost at sea looking to an 18 year old to save them. |

To continue from the last thread, next year I would hope for better positional awareness, better passing (which flows from positional awareness) and better execution of clearing the puck from the defensive zone. |

Playoff hope is probably long gone, Needed points in those Caps games and that Toronto one was just the final nail but glad to see a lineup of youth, mainly the D group all homegrown except Radko who should be the Ashbee winner Not bad for a season I wrote off in January |

Agreed. I was ready to blow them up in January. Now I can see Fletchers plan of being in the market for another top 6 fwrd and Top pair D making a lot more sense. Though thier mix of forwards still seems to be a bit of a puzzle. |

I know we wont see him until its "official" but I still would live for his first game to include both of those things happening.
I'm just ready to see what Morin can do. I feel like his skill set and size and reach can change the blue line |

I'd still dress Morin, even if 7th d, against NYI. We'll be out of playoffs by then and Boychuk will be looking for revenge. |

Win this game. That last game really was crushing, but there is no better way to bounce back than to beat the Penguins. Perfect scheduling!
To Montreal, Columbus and Carolina—Booooo! and may you find many ways to lose and lose and lose.
Let’s go Flyers!

I think it is unreasonable to think that we're going to see what Morin can do if he gets in a few games down the stretch.

It’ll definitely be cool to get a taste of what he can bring to the table. It sucks waiting this last little bit since he has been a prospect for long, but hopefully we get to see him a few times this season! |
