The Devils have the cap room and need to keep Hall. They should start negotiating as soon as they can but they MUST make sure this doesn't become John Tavares 2.0.
Or Zach Parise 2.0 for that matter.
Speaking of people leaving and (frank)ing the team in the ass on the way out the door..... I'm going to see the Rangers play the LA Kovalchucks tonight. Not sure what to root for. Injuries?
Can I wear my Devils #17 Jersey? Probably not worth the abuse when you don't give a poop. |

Probably wont get a shot at that Goalie Spencer Knight since we will be drafting in the top 2 but kids good, been awhile since a goalie was projected to go in the first round. |

This will change by the draft, but for now I like these three.
Kaapo Kakko RW TPS Turku (SM-Liiga) we need an RW
Victor Soderstrom D Brynas IF (SHL) second best D in the draft and right sided
Jakob Pelletier LW Moncton (QMJHL) potential top five skills

If Devils could acquire Matt Duschene only to a sign and trade I would do it. Even if it means including our first pick this year...I know you will all jump on me for saying this but number 1 we as an organization are doing terrible with 1st round picks anyway and number 2 if Taylor Hall sees the Devils trying to build for NOW just maybe it makes resigning him that much easier. The way it is now we could just be getting a young player who wont be ready to make an impact when Hall is no longer here anyway. With Ottawa surrendering potential 1st overall pick I think they would jump all over a chance to at least cut bait and get back something. Like i said though only if Duchene were to resign which is probably unlikely |
