Thanks Carol. Will be nice to see some Canucks hockey again tomorrow.

Every time I hear that Edler is in talks to be re-signed I get a little more annoyed.

Thanks Carol! Edler has been a great pro for us, my only hope is we dont sign him beyond 3 years. I’d imagine he will want a NTC again, but if JB can do three with no clause i will be very happy.

Wow he has Zegras high, hey? I actually think Newhook is that good as well. So much skill.

Zegras started the season near my top 5 but has fallen.

yep, 3 years max and he will want an nmc for sure. I'd prefer 2 years though if he has the nmc.

if he doesn't want to go anywhere, ideally it should be year to year contracts.

I'm afraid of commitment. But I guess we know what we are getting with Edler.

He sure wasn't. There are less and less draft eligible players being on junior teams these days from Canada and USA.

Zegras plays left wing usually beside Jack Hughes now that Turcotte is playing 2nd line center.

I see Clayton Keller in Zegras.

I hope they play like it matters and show up.

never know what you are going to get after a couple days off, and with what, 2 weeks off, it will be interesting to see who shows up.

Even with JB saying he wants player for player trades, I'm still on board with moving guys for picks. need to make room to audition some dmen from utica and Goldy has to play if there is any chance on moving him for something or the club to make up their mind, if they haven't already.

I'm trying to be patient, would like to see a trade though, and the hysteria.

Sure hope that Brock Boeser returns to form for the last half the year.
Hasn’t been bad this year exactly and maybe it’s just in comparison to Petey, but it would be nice to see him start to light it up and finish the season strong.

I can’t even remember the last time there was some good hysteria?

Did people freak out when McCann was traded yesterday and get all upset about Guddy?

If you were Jim Benning, would you have traded Tanev for prospects Carl Grundstrom and Sean Durzi and the Leafs' 2019 first-rounder—which could have given Vancouver two first-round draft picks when they host the draft here in Vancouver in June?

Thanks Carol

No I wouldn't trade off for that offer . It is essentially a second round pick and two B prospects.

I look at who is available around that selection and the probability of that player being ready to play NHL is 3 to 4 years . I believe by selecting our own Dman with our existing picks will bring the same results without having a big hole on the right side.

Jett Woo seems to be coming along nicely and will be ready in a 2-3 year window hopefully. Tanev can keep the D at better order rather than Tyler Myers or Gudbrandson.

If the 1st rounder was good enough to turn both into the 1st overall for Hughes you would.

As usual, there's more hysteria anticipation than there is actual hysteria. Only time this year people have been hysterical is the Matheson-EP game and that's normal for any fanbase.

A mediocre finish would mean a better cap hit long term.

I’d rather pay more for better results.
Hasn’t quite looked like the player from last year imo.
Hope he gets it back and continues to develop.
