Oh yeah wanna hear a doozy from a Flyer fan...he was serious too.

I've seen some delusional things in my life, but wow.

Seriously 2 1sts, a high drafted prospect and RNH...no joke.

I would counter with Cal Clutterbuck and a conditional 3rd round pick in 2021 for Gosshirtsbtehhere

The fact that the Rangers would even try to trade for someone that is going to be a free agent is delusional, never mind the pieces. But lets just assume for fun that they accepted the trade. I'm sure Buch would thrive under Torts seeing how well he has done under AV and Quinn

The same Australian guy thinks that RNH will finally figure it out in year 9 and be a true 1 center. So that is what we're dealing with.

- tomburton99

I personally think RNH is a decent #2 center, he plays in all situations. He is basically in the same category as Couturier or Johansen, not true 1C, but can be slotted in when needed or with the right players.

Honestly what do you think Buch by himself would get. I'm thinking a very low 2nd or 3rd. Its more of a waste to even try to trade him unless its a package.

I don't like him or dislike him. He is here and he plays limited minutes and does what he does, which sometimes helps the team, sometimes doesn't. I don't understand your extreme hate for him.

He's gonna probably leave for nothing. So just move him now. His offesnive numbers are still decent, even with being staple to Cody Mcleod for periods of time. Trade him for a 3rd and watch him play well somewhere else. Just be done with it.

He just represent what's wrong with the Rangers. I know you remember in 2013/14 and even 2014/15 with Tanner Glass on the 4th line, the 4th line was good. They had guys that chipped in offensively, defended well and fight when needed. Cody McLeod does none of that. He's a waste of roster spot and contract.

I know we always talk about it and it never happens, but maybe this is the summer they knock someones socks off with an offer sheet. Laine???? 15 yrs 80 mill a yr lol.

Seriously tho, they have amassed picks and prospects they need a big splash. Like a Bam Bam Bigelow belly flop kinda splash

The only team that is really kind of in a pickle and can get screwed by an offer sheet is the Maple leafs. I don't think it would ever happen though. Pretty sure its a thing of the past, you probably wont see any offer sheets in your lifetime

Dundee, this is my plan right here.

http://www.tankathon.com/nhl

See if yoou can make like the Leafs and/or Jets. Be bad for a handfull of years. Get he high picks, and get the elite talent. Talent being cost controlled for 3 or 4 years.

- tomburton99

Or end up like the Oilers and Sabres (who are finally turning it around).
