Would we be shocked if somebody else's cant miss prospect is a miss for us? He still has plenty of time but it'd be funny.

this suggests Hayes or Kreider and not so much Zuccarello:

During a radio hit on TSN 1200, Pierre LeBrun suggested the Flames are aggressive on the trade market and would like to add some size/physicality up front.

So we have to make sure they are on the ice at the same time as Strome right?

Yes. We need a RW to complete that line.

Since I brought them up earlier, hit Philly up and get Nolan Patrick. Move him to wing. Line complete.

He's been better lately and is only 20. He has time.

I’ve never saw jimmy so excited to have drafted someone as he was with Brendl. It breaks my heart to this day

Nah, has to be a mix.

You get rid of every decent player and you get stuck with crap, then you have young players playing with crap. Then the crap spreads. Then you have crap for a very long time.

To suggest that you keep some good players and add high draft picks with selected free agents and it wont work, well, doesn't make much sense

- mdw7413

Personally, I was more upset about Malhotra. Just imagine being able to look in the future and find out: this guy will have a 20 year career and will be one of the best in the league at what he does (a Selke finalist!). Only the Rangers could get Manny Malhotra out of that

I LOVED Brendl too. His first practice as a Ranger he smoked a shot past Richter and I thought to myself WOW, we finally got "the guy"! Oh well....
