RNH is not stepan , kid s a thoroughbred ,next t Hall to flourissh

when given #1 time slot with top wings..watch out

- Dundee13

RNH: .71 ppg player. Averages 58 points a season

Derek Stepan: .68 ppg player. Averages 55 points a season.

So yeah, they are the same. Neitehr are #1 center.

o k , HAYES can be more affective traded out west

Col. Edm. Cal all need his game ADD a dman in deal

I E Clo. Jost + lower #1 +depends on rest of deal = Hayes & D or Fast ?

How bout Hayes ,fast + Mc Quad + our #2pick = jost ,#1 ,+ Barrie

1. low probablility of signing there unless blown away
could look into a n F A sign for 3rd line role back here next yr

2. Bost is only east team with up coming talent to make sweet deal
Hayes would sooo well in bean town

Let me offer probably the most hated proposal

Rangers send Hayes and Shattenkirk to Tampa Bay for Callahan, this year's 1st or 2nd (depending on cup win so basically NY gets both picks regardless), and Tampa Bay's next 2 1st round picks with a conditional 3rd round pick if Tampa wins a Cup.

Yzerman already has 1 foot out the door. His legacy is winning a Cup now before he goes back to Detroit. He has no incentive for future picks. Offering him possibly the best C on the market who knows half of his roster quite well as a rental and converting Callahan and his albatross contract into a serviceable defenseman who can potentially dominate with easier matchups makes his team a juggernaut.

For NY Gorton immediately receives death threats over Callahan coming back but NY is free from him after next season. Callahan is garbage but he will play David Quinn style hockey. Rangers are guaranteed an extra 1st round pick for 3 more years even if they are really late round picks in addition to a 2nd and potentially a 3rd round pick. 5 extra early round picks is a lot of capital for a rebuild or even offer sheet. Hayes has a chance to win a cup with friends on a team that has 0 chance of resigning him giving NY a chance to bring him back

Exactly like Hank.

Also fans here already called for that guy's head after his tirade. Seguin/Benn won that war without firing a shot.

I am gonna kill this one right away because there is no is way Tampa can handle Shattenkirk's 6.5 million cap hit the next two years.

Taking Callahan off their hands solves the 1st year. Yzerman may not care about year 2. It creates a problem for Tampa for sure which is an added benefit for NY and everyone else

As they should. The Starts outside of Radulov, Klingberg, Benn and Seguin are not good.

They need to pay Point. They only have 9 million dollars in cap pace next year. It's not possible.
