EDM has put Puljujarvi on the block. With Stan picking up several former first round pedigree types, could he be next? Count me in. EDM is up against the cap and has Klefborn ($4.1 mil cap hit) due back soon from injury. Go get him Stan!

He's 6'4".... sign me up! Debrincat (50% retained) and a 1st for Puljujarvi! Get it done Stan!

Charlie Hunnam (sons of anarchy?) Rami Malek (the new Queen movie) Eve Hewson (Bono's daughter, The Knick).

Hunnam is McQueen's character and Malek is Hoffman's character.

I loved SOA but he's such a bad actor. No matter what he does now I'll only see Jax Teller.

Because he's another smurf this team doesn't need. The Hawks need more size and truculence. 6'4" is always better than 5'7" (for the record I think that height for Debrincat is with his skates on).

I was just watching clips of that. He just tormented those two. The hit on Hamhuis that leads to the Bickell goal in 2011 was unreal!

No, we traded him for Lucic. Member? Joki, Boq, or both? Both!

Agree he is small, but you want to trade a proven 20+ goal scorer in his first two seasons for a guy that may just need a change of scenery? And also give them a first round pick when we're rebuilding?!?!?!?!!?!?!?

Motorcycle drama show, does that sum it up? Never saw it, didn't want to. Hunnam was in a King Arthur movie that I fell asleep through. Looked good, was just tired, haha.

The Hawks haven't been the same since Hossa left. Yes, he did bring out the best in Saad and Toews. Its been said before, but those two owe Hoss part of their big salaries.
- boilermaker100

Real issue is they’ve never replaced Hossa with anyone worth a poop. Panik, Duclair, and Kahuna.

I will agree to that. But you want to move the Cat and a first for that return when that package could likely get you size and goals from a proven player? I think you are severely over valuing this kid. He is in a poop organIzation, but I am not on board with moving:

A. A 1st round pick which we need significantly in a rebuild
B. A guy who has proven himself when we have struggled mightily to find one of our draft picks to meet and exceed expectations.

All for a guy who needs a change of Scenery who for all we know could absolutely suck. But he is 6'4 so we push that narrative....

You must really want Stan fired.

Players like Hossa come around about every 20 years. It's almost impossible to pick up a direct replacement for him. I agree those 3 you mentioned couldn't carry 81's jock strap.

He wasn't being serious. He was just posting trading for someone effective (short) for someone who is ineffective (tall) to prove a point.

Yeah. I remember when Saad was dubbed "mini-Hossa" and I think part of why the Hawks brought him back was to fill some of the two way play void, but Hossa is pretty much impossible to replace. The guy was often our best forward.

We're all hoping for a return to the good old glory days, whatever it takes.

No problem agreeing to disagree on various topics. That's what the blog is here for.

We can't change what happened in the past. It's over and done. We can only look forward and go from here.

- boilermaker100

I am with you on that ,be no fun if we all agreed lol Cheers !

Right, you know what I meant and by doing so it’s made Saad irrelevant on that line. He would stretch the defense and Toews/Hossa would jump in and cycle the puck in the o-zone.
