He really did and I’m betting he earned some respect from his new locker room too. He’s a great energy line guy and the lack of teeth to match

LOL. I called it. I said you would check in and 3 posts later there you are. That was a good bout and for once our guy won a fight, which hasn't happened in years.

it's one of the few games I've watched live because of work and figuring nothing would happen. Usually just record it and skim the next day

Well I don't necessarily agree with your stance on the role of fighting (especially these days), but I do appreciate your perspective, even if I've gone after you at times. If everyone thought the same way poop would be boring.

ABSOLUTELY ZERO REASON Patrick Kane should be on the ice with 16 seconds to go down 3. Too much poop can happen.
- kwolf68

Yeah, they could lose him for the season or something. At the minutes he is playing, he is gonna need some time off anyway,

Kane is good at hockey.

Think how good he would have been if they had put him in Rockford for a couple of years

Someone tell the coach, this isn't PeeWee hockey where you are coaching your kid, Kane is a precious resource and while I have issues with him being run into the ground at 25 minutes a night, i have SERIOUS issues with him being on the ice in a game that is basically over. This coach has a long ways to go. This is simple poop.
- kwolf68

I have serious doubts about Colliton as well. I wonder if somebody up above is putting pressure on him to Win NOW with his TOI delegation. His main purpose should be developing the younger players, yet Kane's ice time is ridiculous.

Yeah

Definitely still feeling the flu. He could barely talk/breathe in the post-game interview. Sounded awful.

Two days off before the next game - then another two - then one - then about 10 for the All Star game and bye week.

Not ideal, playing 27 minutes - but bar injury - he’ll be fine.

I wouldn't call up either. Let Delia ride with Ward and get the experience.

Lankinen needs to get pro experience in the AHL and lock down the starting role there first. He's been playing stronger since Delia got called up.

As for Forsberg, I don't see him with the team after this season. I imagine he may want a change of scenery seeing Delia leapfrog him.

Who knows, Gravel and maybe even Nalimov join the minor league goalie ranks next year which would have Lankinen starting in Rockford with one of Gravel, Nalimov, and Tomkins as backup (the other two as the Indy Fuel tandem). Not sure how much tether Tomkins is going to get; likely a career minor leaguer.

- AEL_Fox

This make a lot of sense to me. Was thinking that maybe Forsberg could be moved at the deadline and bring Nalimov over now (doesn't seem to be playing but not injured?). Like the idea of Lankinen/Nalimov at Rockford next year in any case. Gravel could stay another year in the Q if needed.
