Someone tell the coach, this isn't PeeWee hockey where you are coaching your kid, Kane is a precious resource and while I have issues with him being run into the ground at 25 minutes a night, i have SERIOUS issues with him being on the ice in a game that is basically over. This coach has a long ways to go. This is simple poop. |

How many worthless goals does Saad have this year? I think 3 Empty netters and now 2 in garbage time that I remember. He had annother top shelf goal late within the recent weeks when the Hawks were down 3+

ABSOLUTELY ZERO REASON Patrick Kane should be on the ice with 16 seconds to go down 3. Too much poop can happen. - kwolf68
I think the league respects Kane too much for any BS like that. I haven't seen many guys taking runs at him this year and even letting up when they could really lay a check on him.. Obviously he's so smart, quick, and elusive he doesn't put himself in positions to be hit...but I think guys have A LOT of respect for 88 across the league. |

You may be right Enzo, but he needs to have his ass stapled to the bench in that situation, period. You never know when some knucklead WILL take a run. There is ZERO reward for the risk, albeit small, involved. |

It all stopped after the John Scott all-star game hit, and Kane dropped the gloves. |

I see where you're coming from, and don't disagree. Might have just be Kane bugging him to go for the 5 point game. Does he have a 5 point game in his NHL career?
Nearly 29 minutes TOI for Kaner....he's extraordinary! |

Murphy deserves to wear the A. When was the last time Seabrook stood up for a tm or himself? He's enjoying his early retirement because he hasn't hit anyone in two years. |

Dunno. But if Kane asks me to go out there I tell him hell no and then explain to him later the reason---that you are one of the finest hockey players playing on this planet. It's already a rough sport, the last thing I need is you out there in the last 16 seconds in a game that was lost, just in case something would (as it did) erupt. There was just no reason to even risk it. I am LESS mad, but say Matt Cooke was on New Jersey? I hope this coach would recognize that and make a different call. Jersey doesn't really have any bad guys on that team, so I give it less anger, but still.
I did like Drake's fight. Vandermeer23 should be checking in soon. |

Which defenseman knows how to win a draw?
Might consider two defensemen and Toews. - StLBravesFan
My stating the strongest “defensive threesome” didn’t mean three defenseman. On of the three has to be a forward— most likely Toews or Kruger for the draw. |

I nice to see some emotion. Caggigula can hit and now shows some toughness that this team seriously lacks. If someone runs the team murphy and caggigula are the only guys who will stand up. Which is sad. Hayden is suppose to be that player he's been physical lately but invisible most of the year and just one fight where he fell down right away |

He really did and I’m betting he earned some respect from his new locker room too. He’s a great energy line guy and the lack of teeth to match |

No poop. I don't get it. We're wearing Kane down in a meaningless season, I'd like to think Kane will still be a great player in 2 years when the Hawks hope to compete again. At this rate he may get burned out or worn out. This is not acceptable in my view. |
