Unless some team gives us a bounty that's not fathomable then no. But I'd never move him for just a run of the mill trade, but 3-4 blue chip prospects and first round picks for the next 5 years maybe I'd talk.

AdB is turning into star quality - Toews is still a quality player, with or without scoring. Keith still pretty good, if not in the Norris picture any more.

Potential in some of the rest - Jokiharju, Strome, I think - Murphy is steady.

The rest? They all look like “just another guy- decent bottom-6 / bottom-pairing at best.

I have to say that is BS. Toews is a star having one of his best offensive outputs and plays a 200' game. I wonder how Kane would do if he had to kill penalties or actually backcheck once in a while... I would say the Cat is a star and Strome is one in the making. Defense is another thing. Kane is for sure a super star (top ten scoring) but to say he is the only star is just not true. Toews was never going to get points like Kane but we do not win three cups minus Toews.

There's a very good chance that he's a Top 20 NHL scorer for the entire duration of his contract. I just don't see a realistic trade offer from another team that makes the Hawks a better team. He's sitting at 6th in the NHL in points on an absolutely awful team. McDavid is the only other top 10 scorer playing on a non-playoff team.
