HA! So i was right about Hextall micromanaging Hakstol's lineup. It all makes sense now. Hextall went with off book for a guy who would do as he is told and wouldnt do anything about it because it was his golden ticket.

Solid argument there on Hextall.

Bill, Jay, and now Ant San have gone on record saying how much Hextall controlled and how suffocating it was. Believe what you want, I guess. What Ant San wrote explains a lot:

Poor effort from a miserable team
Hak staying around and Gordon getting fired
Homer and Scott stepping in.

A lot of this stuff Hextall kind of admitted to in his press conference.

We'll never know what fully happeend, but I'm inclined to believe Bill, Jay, and Ant over...Hextall?

I wouldnt imagine a drastic change but things should look up soon. It will take time to fix the internal issues that have been brought to light

Let’s hope. Shortly after he did say “I’m sure Ghost will watch the tape and wish he had a few plays back” but that’s certainly not ripping. I really don’t see a lot of post game Haks interviews but he seemed more relaxed

Provy had the usual puck problems he’s had this year tonight but I also saw him up the ice and pushing play and getting involved.
I wouldn’t be surprised to hear he isn’t fully healthy and he is over thinking his game.
