Provorov looks so awkward with that small stick.

We all like our hockey players with long sticks, just like mcguire likes his announcers

I don't think it's his stick length, I wish they would of never mentioned that during one of the games. They are doing the whole "Look over here" while they do something over there distraction trick.

The small stick and his complete collapse really giving me Joni Pitkanen flashbacks.

Break up G and Coots and the team will dominate...
- Glak18

I would say this is likely. Better for match ups. Puts other 7 to 8 million dollars players in better position, instead of having them be centered by the guy who looks like he unplugged my toilet this morning.

Yeah mini stick!

But in all seriousness, the small stick normally allows a player to control the puck easier around the body where you lose that ability to poke and defend like with a longer one. Yet his problem is in close stick handling, it doesn't make sense.

He's been solid for the most part since he's been playing.

Yup, also his stick seemed to work just fine his first 2 seasons.

Should just keep him around for that beautiful mask.

Best Flyers mask since the Cechmanek silver pharaoh.

Exactly, the mentioning of the small stick is a smoke screen. They didn't mention his small stick until earlier that day I mentioned he may have a hand or arm injury. Proof they follow me on HB.

Yeah Pickard proved me wrong, that good play of his in Colorado was obviously a fluke.

Hägg plays like he’s been in the league for ten years. I still can’t believe some of you were ripping him in camp.

Agreed. BUT, his head and shoulders are more forward/closer to ice. He is getting pressured more and he cannot see the next pass. Panics and turns it over.

I've had no answers until I heard "short stick theory." Makes complete sense to me. He hasn't forgotten how to play hockey. Teams now know to pressure him into a turnover. Long live Eddie O.

Hey be fare to that crowd, they know exactly how a player is going to produce after 1 or 2 seasons.

Yeah lot's of suspect pass and pass attempts. They didn't seem to be up to speed at the start of the game.

He didn't look that secure playing with other partners. It's funny that as bad as he looks some times, Provy, Ghost, Sanheim and Hagg all lay better when paired with him.
