If the Flyers think Myers can step in for Sanheim, then I'd be all for it. Would the Leafs really want Simmonds, though? He's going to cost around the same as Nylander.

I think Sanheim has the potential to be a no2 dman so I don't think Myers is ahead of him.

Maybe, though I think Sanheim is better playing on his natural side. It’s all just speculation but if they made the deal I proposed, perhaps by 20-21, we could see a lineup like:

JVR-Frost-Nylander
Ratcliffe or Lindblom-Patrick-Voracek
Some combo of Laughton, Rubtsov, NAK, Lacyzinski, Vorobyev or Allison on the 4th

Provorov-Myers
Morin-Ghost
Hagg-Friedman or a free agent

Plus, with an expansion draft looming, it might not be a bad idea to move Sanheim in a deal for Nylander
