A few people are saying that Katz flew into Edmonton today to have a meeting with upper management. Don't know if we should trust it, but enough people said it to make it seem plausible. Hopefully it's true and something comes of it before it's too late.

The amount of media people saying things like "you can't always blame the coach" or "Todd is the best coach we'll find" is appalling. He's clearly lost the room and has consistently been unable to get the best out of his roster. Sure, our roster was full of question mark young players, but plenty of coaches get results with those types of players while I don't think Todd ever has.

Montreal's question marks heading into the season included center depth featuring a natural winger, a 3C and a rookie fresh out of the draft, a depressing D corps and a struggling Price. The Islanders lost their best player and signed a bunch of has-been bottom-6 guys to cover for a D corps worse than ours. The Rangers are supposed to be rebuilding with a woeful D corps. Hell, even Guy Boucher is getting great production from a bunch of unproven assets (Tkachuk, White, Batherson, Dzingel, Chabot, DeMelo, Tierney, Jajoie, etc), though they're not a team one should aspire to be.

I'd settle for Keith and Wayne Gretzky taking over GM duties if it got Chiarelli out of the job. I don't even mind Woodcroft sticking around in Bakersfield- maybe Todd made HIM look bad, too

Calling 0-2-1 at best San Jose will cream us, Anaheim will likely win (Draisaitl and McDavid get it to OT?) and LA will likely get an incredible goalie performance from Petersen or Budaj.

I prefer to be fair and partial so I’m putting it on both of them.....Todd doesn’t assemble the roster that would be Chia and he certainly didn’t do a whole lot to a roster that’s supposed to be win now....I’m sure that’s what ownership expected.....he needs to go before he panics and trades Nuge for more poopty former Bruins players or gift wraps him to the Isles for a 4th round pick.....don’t know what else to say as far as Todd goes that hasn’t already been said....6 losses in 7 games right? With very questionable (more like beyond stupid) decision making behind the bench

Very possible....Aberg probably gets the GWG in the Ducks game.....yup good decision to let him go....I would like to think 1-2 just because we should be able to beat the Kings?
