Yeah...

Sadly I’ve lost all faith in Talbot. No entirely fair, I know, but it is what it is.

Talbot hasn’t been good.....unlike someone else I’m not going to pin another lost season on Talbot alone

They have to at this point I would think

Might as well find out what they have in him. Until someone better comes along, he’s the best goalie in our system.

Don’t throw Draisaitl out with the bath water. I’ve no issue with his game or production.

No, it’s definitely not all on Talbot. Not by a long shot.

Yup.

Beginning to regret the waiving of Aberg. He’s looking pretty good in the Ducks top 6.

To clarify I don’t even mean as a #1 goalie but he has at least shown that he would be a good #2....I’ll hold off on #1 chatter till we see more....Aberg has been good for the Ducks no doubt....looking forward to him scoring on us ....

As I said he hasn’t been good but saying the season failing being mainly his fault is idiotic at best but keep trying
- RatedR80

I don't have to try, there's a good chance that a game Talbot starts will end in an L.

Keep being salty that I'm right.

You can read right? Who here says he was great? No one but not many are going to agree with you that this season is Talbots fault either.....don’t just watch the goalie watch the whole rink and everyone on it....pay attention to the coaching and the GM who runs this poop show but yes it’s easy to see that your hatred for Talbot has blinded you from the big picture with this team....so keep pretending that Talbot is the only thing that keeps us from being something special

He had 8 points in 16 games last year... not sure what he did in preseason to deserve being waived by this tire fire of a team.

One would think Chiarelli gets canned and the boys on the bus take over.

Y'all pump his tires saying he's an average goaltender. He isn't. If we had an average goaltender, that would have been a W for Edmonton. He costs us games with poor goaltending.

Oh and our GM and coach are (frank)ing stupid, I don't disagree. But it ain't the coaches fault that Talbot allows four weak goals.

This team is better off without Talbot. MAYBE they could compete for a playoff spot if they had an average goalie.

Ah yes; the days just not complete without the evening ass raping inflicted by the Oilers.

I’m really beginning to question my belief in and my devotion to our Lord Larson, praise be unto him. Perhaps Iggy was right all along... he is a false prophet.

That is Talbot's game log. Half his games he's had a save percentage under .900%. Two of those games he just played below average (.910% is average).

He had a stretch of 5 game where he played excellent (one bad game against Pittsburgh), but other than that he's been awful and has allowed weak goals when the team needs saves.

Oh and he's making 4,166,667 million.

TRASH.

Hmm weird....I remember the exact same thing being said about Duby....wonder what happened to that guy.....Talbot hasn’t played good but his team isn’t doing him any favours with their play either....add the two together and it’s not a pretty picture

I liked Dubnyk, but the start of the 2013-14 season was poop. He had to go and I was actually pretty sad about it. I knew he was a good goalie. I don't have the same feeling with Talbot.

My feeling is at the end of the season he signs with a good team and backs them up. And he'll be good at that. But he'll never be a fulltime starter again.

Also to be fair the 2013-14 team was utter trash. Especially defensively. This year they're bad, but still miles better than 2013-14's defense core.

I'd say five of those games he solely lost them (Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Washington, Colorado, Vegas). One he stole, maybe two.
