Duchene had a good year, 49 points in 68 games on one of the worst teams in the league is decent. Horvat had similar numbers. I don't know why you think he's going "downhill", he was 26 years old last year?

True he did put up decent numbers in OTT last season but was trending steadily downward in COL even when he was playing with better players. Now having said that could have been his situation in COL as it's common knowledge he wasn't happy there but I'm not sure I'd take the risk...just me. Horvat is still trending upwards where Duchesne look to be staying pretty stagnant.

True he did put up decent numbers in OTT last season but was trending steadily downward in COL even when he was playing with better players. In today's NHL I'd take a 50-60 point guy who's 27/28 years old all day long, seven days a week. Pipe-dream anyways no one wants to play here except to finish their career and collect lots of Aquilini dollars for nothing
