Just finished watching the game and have some thoughts:

OJ needs some time in AHL, but is very good and will be a solid top 4 guy. I still see top pairing upside with him.

Lind is more of a complimentary on a line, but he looks good at forcing turn overs to give more chances.

EP will be an allstar

Dahlen will be a top 6 player and likely a top line guy

Gaudette is ready for 4th line minutes

Palmu looks like he will be a 3rd line guy in a couple years, provided he can adjust well to the AHL

Chatfield has some promis, but I heard "pass is too hot to handle" when someone passed him the puck several times. primarily in the 1st.

Brisbois definitely doesn't have a PP mindset, but he is good defensively

Gadj still seemed to need to work on his skating if he wants a good NHL career.

I think they would keep both . Remember back in the day when you could see both Kes and Burrows were ready . They put them on a third line together to start.

I can see Sutter here til more depth at C.
Roussel is hard to say but i’ll guess 3yrs max. For the right trade Sutter could get moved at the TDL at the earliest but again I’ll guess here for 2yrs give or take. I’m hedging my bets depending how D forms up & how well Demko does when he arrives. So much needs to happen in these next 2yrs with the kids & some vets that should make for some fun & interesting times.

This is the second time Ive seen JV on 1st line on one of these predicted lineups
