Isn't he going to LA for a try out? - manvanfan
The guy is a classic case of a player who got by on just being big/fast and having a good shot in the CHL and then his lack of versatility/puck skill/hockey sense got exposed in the NHL.

Well MB is about to get a huge storm. 10 consecutive flashes of lightning followed by 15 seconds of thunder with two huge cracks in the middle. Just glad no hurricanes are coming this way. |

Junior hockey and NHL hockey are just too different hockey games. |

happens in basketball too, some guys are just big and fast and dominate college ball, but then their lack of skills are exposed in the NBA |

Yup, being a more physically mature player at an early age is an advantage. When you have combined 15 years of the best players, you aren't playing one other good player at night, playing an entire team. |

Serena fined $17,000 for coaching, racquet abuse and verbal abuse of an official. - manvanfan
Should have been $50,000 for the way she acted.
Pathetic. |

But wait, it's racism and sexism for an umpire who has been known to be a stickler for the rules to enforce them, especially when the same ref DQed a men's competitor in the first round for virtually the same thing. |

Exactly..
Plus the fact she pulled the equality card make her look like even more of an idiot.
She got caught...deal with it. Yes we know many others do it.
But take your lumps and act mature.
It was bloody sad how she made it all about herself and stole the whole show from the girl who actually won the Open.
Steroids dude...steroids. |

She has a history of doing this when she is losing in big matches like this and yes, she did stole the moment from the Japanese girl who came up big despite Serena's histronics. I love Chris Evert playing the "I've never seen something like this before" on commentary when McEnroe was famous for being docked points and DQed in championship finals for throwing tantrums at the refs. |

So, after watching the game live with my family, I can say, without a doubt, that there were two Zambonis. |

Flames drafted Andersson with that pick, has legit top 4 potential. If he reaches it then I'd say they ended up with the more valuable player. - Nucker101
So Svens 94 points in 193 games as a Canuck gets trumped by a guy who's played the last 10 games of last season and his "potential"...
makes sense |

Oh I get it - "If he reaches his top 4 potential" then you believe he has more value than the trade for Sven - I'm just trying to understand how you're quantifying that assessment? |
