On the bright side, we may end up having a shot at Jack Hughes after all. |

Non contact....neat - Just5
I read most herniated disc's happen while brushing the teeth... yet the same knee again seems not so optimal. I liked the guys heart in game 5 & 6, he hold you in the series with his major disadvantage...

Without a doubt.
It doesn’t sound serious but it’s pretty troubling that he re-injured the same knee in a non-contact play. Wonder if he’ll wear a brace from now on. Lord knows, Coots really isn’t a guy who can afford to lose a step and he’s arguably the most valuable player (along with Provorov) on this team. To lose him for any length of time would be a huge blow.
FFS, why can’t these things, if they must happen, happen to guys like Weise or Lehtera? This is not the way you want start the season. |

 so true
I am not a knee scientist, but I would suspect surgery would fix any issue (and they might find something else in there) that may have lingered from the initial injury. Could honestly be a good thing that it happened in the offseason, as he should be ready to go by the time the season starts. |

I think we should just let him play on 1 MCL. He has already proven he scores more |

Players can't just take it easy until pre-season. The days of showing up to camp and playing your way into shape are over. |

Rather 6 weeks than 6 months. The non contact part of it is tad worrisome, but it's just a minor inconvenience at this point IMO. |

Actually with as soft as the ice can get in summer months, it was probably full of ruts....lets be careful not to go into full spazz on non contact. if he hit a massive rut, it could have buckled his knee a bit.

All I can say is yikes. Really hope it's not serious but this doesn't sound good at all. Sounds like a wonky knee and I could see him getting hit on that's knee and needing surgery during the season. Hope I'm wrong but we need that cat healthy. |

Hope you're right. Gudas needs to stay the (frank) away from him at camp. |
