20+15-18+12=47-50. So Pettersson, Virtanen going to play 10-13 minutes a game? That would be epic bad.

I think Pettersson will get a bunch PP time but not a lot of 5v5 especially if he is paired with Gagner

Da Beauty league is through 3 games
It's still shinny...but loving that stat line for Boeser

2.66 Goals per game (53% shooting)
2 Assists per game
--> 4.66 points per game

https://www.dabeautyleagu...ce/74323?subseason=523793

By comparison, Mittelstadt has 1 goal & 3 assists, while JVR is 1 & 1.

Looking at rookies centers last season. Probably 14:30 to 17:30 minutes a game. Somewhere in the 13 minutes of 5v5 and 3 minutes of PP time.

You're going to have Mini's book filled up by training camp.

Possibly..... Horvat was 12:19 all situations his rookie year.
Boeser was 17:30 last year and he had one of Canucks greatest rookie seasons ever.

I’d agree with that. If you were to adjust points by era I bet he’d be the leader. Linden had such an amazing rookie season because he was 18.

Linden was a well rounded kid with a good head on his shoulders. AG reminds of him.

He was a kid growing up in a different age. The internet wasn’t around.

Having read over the last couple of days posts, Vantel has it right.

These guys believe they have honed in a model that will hopefully open a very long window (ala Caps, Winnipeg, Nashville).

You can point to Buffalo and Edmonton ofc and see examples where the full teardown hasn't panned out. Obviously Toronto have a good team, but they got some luck with the lottery. They did have some quality vets around though, and that is the type of future JB and FA see.

Wouldn't be surprised if both Tanny and Edler resign when the time comes.

Good move for Hughes. I wanted him to play but it was almost a 50/50 call so not unhappy.

This is a smart move for the kid. In Michigan he's going to be on a good team where he can continue to feel the success instead of dealing with Vancouver's half rebuild a tank season.

EP playing with Sutter just doesn't make sense if you are going to use Sutter as the shutdown center.

Peterson is ??? So it's only virtanen whos development will continue to suffer.

Bozak sucks goat balls and cost 15 mil . He is more expensive than Sutter . Beagels entire contract is 3 mil cheaper
- VANTEL

He might suck goat balls, I’m not privy to his personal preferences, but he would put up 50 points on the second line with decent line mates, something that Beagle will never do. But it isn’t about Bozak, as I said, it was about finding the best offensive player they could at the C position, over paying that player to come to Van on a very short deal, giving time for the better prospects to develop. It also would have allowed Gaudette to ease into the NHL in a 4th line role, or head to Utica if he wasn’t ready and a guy like Schaller was capable of 4th line C.
