I mean... you can't assume another GM is going to make a bad deal. So Fenton's trade options right now might be make the team worse now and better in the future, make the team better now and worse in the future, or swap players where the team doesn't get better it just has new faces. It doesn't seem like the Wild are really in a good spot for either of the first two; and the third... seems like the biggest leaders have lifetime contracts and would be tough to move.
