Carolina is most likely to trade a defenseman.
Faulk being the most likely candidate. Everyone but Aho is on the market according to McKenzie.
I hope Bergevin finds a way to acquire Hanifin. - Scabeh
I think Skinner is gone
Likely Faulk as well, they (frank)ed up with that Co Captain bs
Faulk played very well beside Hainsey, not saying it would be the same, but he was a pretty well rounded d man back then.
If the deal made sense I would absolutely do it. |

yeah, i think those 2 are most likely traded from there.
i think they'll try to move rask...that'll be tough. if we wanted off the Z contract, Z for rask might be close. |

I think the Leafs should just keep Z, it has been one bad year.
See how he does next season and go from there. No need to hit the panic button and make a bad trade. |

I think we will see Marlies get longer looks.
Which I am happy about, LV showed some guys just need chances.
It has certainly worked in the AHL for Dubas, hopefully it translates to the NHL. |

I wouldn't be surprised if the Leafs take a step back this year and allow their players to mature and give spots to younger guys. They might be in a fight for a wild card. |

I disagree
The Leafs have by far the most cap space they will have for the next decade, they will absolutely spend to the cap to try and win a cup.
The Marlies are the development grounds for the Leafs, the Leafs are done with that |

Dubas has two options;
1) Vertically integrate the core organically or;
2) Gamify to the teams efforts by taking a deep dive into the secondary market; |

You still need to give them a spot in the NHL to get up to speed with the NHL. Dermott, Kapanen and Johnsson have and will make simple mistakes still. |
