Blow up the team. Everyone besides Gallagher, Galchenyuk and Mete are fair game. |

Agreed with Gallagher and Mete but Galchenyuk can go as well ... he's inconsistant and a defensive liability.
He'll never be better than he is now ... get what you can for him and move on. |

They will wait and see if they can convince Tavares to sign before they blow it up, as they should |

No way Tavares will come in that mess of a team. |

It's far from a sure thing but they will explore it no doubt, the money will be there and they will sell him the idea that his addition would fix most of that mess, it would certainly change the whole look of the forward lines... |

No money for everyone long term. Leafs need a defenseman anyway. |

(Btw I know he's not going to Toronto)
Why laugh? It's the dream of every player ever to play in Toronto. You know that, denying it is a confession of ignorance. |

Can't IGNORE the fact that Tavares will not pass up an opportunity to receive the TORCH from the (extremely) failing hands of MAX PACIORETTY as they take over the lEEgue with help from the back end duo of SHEA WEBER and ERIK KARLSSON (acquired in exchange for Charlie Lindgren, Nicolas Deslauriers and a 2nd) with REFRESHED CAREY PRICE back in Olympics form |

Hudon, Scherbek and Galchenyuk seems like a fun line.
Keep 'em together. |

Nice to see “Downgrade Drouin” finally get one! Somebody hit that lazy (frank) with a taser gun already. I thought he was excited to be a Hab with all the bullpoop he spewed preseason......nice to see he hasn’t changed.
Some French saviour he is......
Get a top Centre no matter the cost/process and start from there. Anything else is absolutely unacceptable. |

Unfortunately, MB is more likely to trade for a 3rd line centre that can play next year than a 1st line one who could play in 2-3 years...So I wouldn't count on it.
His plan was probably to get Bonino as the Habs 1st line centre last summer... |

Haven't you heard? We're getting Jaden Schwartz. Problem solved. |

Absolutely! The only thing more important to this franchise than getting a true #1 Centre is removing the current management than can evalute external talent and one that doesn’t overvalue and overpay their own so-called talented players.
I’d say that a turn-around to success would be relatively quick with this team....but it would only be short-lived as our pipeline is drier than Minimum Pacioretty’s sense of humour.
Let’s keep losing to better the future and further expose MB. |
