What I did find funny was Brock playing with the Sedins . They say they will bring them back next year to insulate the youth and yet every game they put the hottest player on their line to insulate / kick start them.

Five on five they didn't produce at all, the Sedins slow him down IMO. He needs to play with young legs like Horvat.

How about Ryan Johansen - 5 goals in 45 games this year - less points than the Sedins. Plays 60% of the time with Forsberg and Arvidsson.....didnt score a goal in January. Thats what a cool 8 mil gets you.

With all the talk of insulating the sedins I think Gaudette would probably play well with them. He is like a Burrows or Hansen type. Can chip in with offense and cover for them defensively.

They might be forced in to going after a dman and they have loads of picks.

Tavares wont resign if they are struggling to make the playoffs year after year.

They are likely to get more for Tanev than they will for Gudbranson.

So the plan is to re-sign Gudbranson. He turned down 4 years 18M from the Panthers.

He'll command between 5-6M for at least 3 years with a NTC.

JB signed him to a 1 year "show me deal", he's shown he can't stay healthy.

They'll sign him to a Loui Eriksson type deal
