What's on Mike Gillis? That they're finishing at the bottom of the league? I don't think that's an issue, at least it isn't for me, that's what I want. My issues are the execution of their rebuild, not that they are rebuilding, which I think is true for a lot of fans.

This is not a blow it up rebuild agreed.
As for execution the prospect pool is in full gear. Time is what we wait upon for prospects to push the vets out. In the meantime the current roster is mostly plugs with future core mixed. How JB went about the rebuild is open to question but that we all assume was marching orders from FA. Put that all together & we have what we have & its not horrible it just seems it is 😂😂

AV chased him out of town and he played most of his career under him. Gillis isn't even in the NHL who had no faith in him. That is all irrelevant I'd think.

I think the question is, what's a bigger sell to Grabner... immediate winning or quality minutes. Both might be hard for him to achieve.

Bottom line: all those teams had rosters full of talented players. The low scoring Kings had Kopitar-Carter-Richards-Stoll down the middle and guys like Brown, Williams, etc on the wing to go along with a really strong d-core and a great goalie.

We also have both a rw/c 2nd liner in Gagner and a lw/c corsi darling in guance.

Just need one or two players and some pick luck and we'll be on our way.

Great game. Loved it. I have to say most of you are morons. The fans that complain about Benning don’t truly understand the hole the organization is in. On the flip side, the fans that blindly defend Benning are also delusional. My hope is that Vancouver has intelligent fans in 2018 as well as lots of draft picks.

Edler, mdz, hutton, tanev are all under contract next year. Stecher and Pouliot are RFAs. Gudbranson is a UFA they are "trying" to re-sign. Holm and Juolevi are knocking on the door. If management is going to bring back this exact D, they really arent showing fans they want to improve a awful back end. I really do think either gudbranson gets traded, or if he is re-signed, we woll see a couple current roster dmen traded.
