They almost never call the D giving a face wash over running the GT... not like it was anything violent. |

Sorry. Get the sedins and edler off the (frank)ing PP. They are too slow and cant put any mustard on any pass or shot. Useless. |

.500 or bubble is still poop... you think small. - boonerbuck
I don't see them as .500 or bubble team. I see it for what it is. |

Avs are still a poop team as well. Let's see how good they are without Nathen for a long stretch.

Honestly they had an excellent draft last year picking 5th overall in the first round and had an additional pick in the second round. They don't need to pick first overall to much improve their future. It'd be nice. But it's having a successful draft top to bottom that's more important.
Asset management, they NEED to add more picks by trading Vanek or Gudbranson. - LeftCoaster

It really is too bad about Vanek, if the team were just a little further along in the rebuild i would want them to resign him |

They stack the first unit, Boeser and Horvat were on with them, who else should get their minutes? Sutter, Grandlund and Eriksson? |

They can trade and re-sign him but he's gotta go. |

Grabner type will be a better fit. More speed and more versatile and a little younger. |

AV chased him out of town and he played most of his career under him. Gillis isn't even in the NHL who had no faith in him. That is all irrelevant I'd think.
I think the question is, what's a bigger sell to Grabner... immediate winning or quality minutes. Both might be hard for him to achieve.

You can’t play skilled wingers with Sutter, it’s a waste. Play guys like Dorsett(Archibald?) and Gaunce with him and have them check scoring lines. - Nucker101
