I understand the qualms with being a bubble team as that doesn't help the immediate or the future, but I don't get the complaining people are doing about the wins and losses with regard to management.
The kids are leading the team right now, and people are upset because they're winning and are becoming a bubble team. They play the vets and lose and people complain they should be playing the kids. Management brings in young, potential players this past year that are contributing and it's a negative. They bring in old players that aren't contributing and it's a negative.
Realistically, what is the best option? Them losing with youth, losing with vets? Should management send all the kids back to the minors so they stop winning? We could play the Sedins more, but we all know how you feel about that - NewYorkNuck
Best option..
All expiring UFA's get dealt for picks or prospects
Gudbranson, weircoch, vanek, burmistrov, gaunce all gone.
Goldobin, virtanen slot in.
Our new first line continues to grow and gain chemistry.
Sedins and Vanek's ice time continue to dwindle.
Linden gets fired
We get Rasmus Dahlin (who will be the best dman in the league in 5 years)
Best option |

Man Elias Petersson, Eli Tolvanen, and Miro Heiskanen are absolutely dominating overseas as recent draft prospects. Just read an article about how dominatinf their play has been and its really quite impressive. Petersson as a U20 has passed some all time great in points and PPG at the same age. Hopefully hes bulking a bit - Codes1087
hope so.
remember hearing a little piece that was discussing RNH and how he is now at 195 lbs compared to when he was almost 20 lbs lighter when he was a rookie. It took awhile to get there.
want the kid in with the big club as soon as he is ready, but don't want to see him get beat up. |

Totally bang on with the RNH comparison. I think Petersson has the skill to skip the ahl, like Bo, but Bo had an NHL frame out of junior and Petersson needs to eat a few sandwiches. |

Ha, and that's perfectly fair! I agree with most of that. I just don't get why people are crapping on management for every single thing. Team playing well? Management. Team playing poorly? Management. Playing the kids but not losing enough but not playing the vets too much and not rushing prospects but not giving them enough rope and fostering a good atmosphere but potentially being a bubble team? Management. |

again, I argued with him that his production was 90% a result of playing with the twins. But no, he's a star in the making. - LeftCoaster
I never said he was a star in the making. You said Bo is a 3rd liner Center. Stupidist thing I’ve heard on here in years. Congrats Hefty |

Hey....welcome home! And thanks. Ha, I said hes a third line center on a championship team, which hes proving is probably wrong as well. Turning into what looks like he could be a good second line center on a championship team. |

I think the canucks should do everything in their power to get BB the Calder. Might be the only good thing to come out of this season.
Give the fans something to cheer for. - bloatedmosquito

individual recognition is not important, it's about the team. that's why JV is sitting. |
