Senator fans know when your team is in the basement of the NHL, there is no point trying to shine that turd ............. BUT leaf fans never stopped claiming their team was better situated when the leafs were cellar dwellers, because of how high they were going to select in the draft ...... and that was, and is stupid.

Sens fans know better, and even though the Senators may select as many as two prospects in the first round, we'll just wait until the next season begins to start commenting on how the Sens are doing.

leaf fans already know their team is getting bounced in the first round ........... unless there is a major injury to a the first round opponet's star player(s) ............ and then the leafs get hammered in the second round.

then the leafs lose JVR, Bozak and Komarov in the off-season to free up space to sign younger players coming off their ELCs this, and next season as their window closes even more.

also, how pathetic is this: "we'll just wait until the next season begins to start commenting on how the Sens are doing."

now he doesn't want to talk about it. the most typical dErp move ever. and of course followed up by the same weak deflection he's been trotting out since he started to understand the REALITY of the situation.

Stupid Laffs fans thought that, in addition to superior ownership, management, development system, salary cap situation, fan support and parking lots, that high draft picks which turned into Nylander, Marner and Matthews had their team better situated than a bunch of mediocre scrubs who fluked their way to the ECF last year by way of luck and facing injury depleted opponents. So stupid. What a bunch of idiots!

So how did that all turn out this year? Maybe we should check the standings for the answer? Remember when they used to matter?

Or maybe we should all just wait until next year instead. Next year's standings matter. But the games don't start to mean anything until December, unless they were pre-season games. But some years they don't start meaning anything until January except for outdoor games. And if they still don't mean anything (because they don't suit my narrative at the time) then the next season's standings will matter again.

yes, exactly.

and we were right. We WERE, and ARE better situated than the Sens.

This was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt this season, when a very young Leafs core dramatically out-performed the Sens, and the Leafs farm team is also better and the Sens stand to lose their best players... OR sign them to ridiculous hope-killing contracts.

Sens fans know all about how this works.

Leafs fans were also right about the Sens playoff fluke last year and right about it being all about luck and injuries.

Once again the leaf trolls are totally obsessed with the inner working of the Senators.

Not one peep about the leafs win tonight ................... it's much more important to the leaf trolls to come on this thread and bad mouth the Sens,
and the couple of Sens fans willing to give their perspective on things, from their POV.

Funny how that it is ................. but that's what trolls do.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, these trolls can't go a single day, without trashing the Sens and their fans ................. I know I can go an entire week without even remotely talking about the leafs, in any way, good or bad ..........something none of the leafs can do, in respect with the Senators.

Mark my words, from midnight tonight, nothing leaf related will be posted by me........ and other the other side, the leaf trolls will continue with their obsessive behavior, because they're leaf trolls, they can't find it within their-selves to post only about the leafs, for even a day, never mind an entire week........... they just can't do it.

I wonder if him shutting up is taking the high road, or embarassment. I mean it took all these years right?

I think we all know the answer to that.
