Since it's all about the youth and Carol is turning toward that will make a prediction on two players she won't get a chance to see.

EP and Guadette will get signed before end of season and be brought in to see how they fair against NHL players. If they do well, like BB did, the Canucks will turn the page on the Sedins.

When you have a couple high end goalie prospects trading the farm for a legit starter probably isn't your first choice ....thus the bandaid

Makes sense. In Chiasson Van already has enough 3rd line wingers. More then enough actually.

Purcell really did suck last season.

Winnik, I like his game as a 4th liner. More for a championship roster depth though. Have younger players in his shoes.

Draisaitl is elite & can play as a 2C on a good team.
Thats versatility & talent few teams can match.
JP is in the wings & will slot in easily.
He's payed for his value & better than Nylander.
Just a guess but maybe its why the Oil picked him & passed on Reinhart/Bennett?

Winnik would just be taking a spot from a younger player with the potential to be better then him.

That would be new news to Ryan White. He was in Brandon a week ago. I don't know him but we have some mutual friends. They said he was really considering Europe. Didn't have any PTO's yet even. That was a week ago though.
