Every team goes through this, it's just their turn. Even the worst teams in recent, or long term, memory, like Edmonton and Toronto, turned things around eventually.

its unbelievable that some people in here do not understand this. This team is bad, really bad, but things will pick up... eventually. As far as I am concerned, we were a hell of a lot better off after we traded Hansen and Burrows. We will be much better once the Sedins are Edler are gone. Anything and everything between now, and the day we have a legit first line center and an elite defensemen is pretty much just stop gap filler.

We are bottom 6 for sure. But don't be shocked if we finish slightly out of the bottom 5. Make no mistake we are not good but a few changes have been made in the off season so it will be interesting.

the same ones that day in and day out spark debates on how to maximize production with different line combinations with this dog poop roster to get back in the playoff hunt.

Yup I said this month's ago, I don't understand all the angst, Benning made some good moves this past TDL and this is the most exited I've been about the team in years.

Even if he signs Vanek for a couple years and resigns the Sedins, we are better off than signing Eriksson's, Miller's, Lucic's etc or trading away kids for short term fixes.

Embrace that this team mgmt has finally, or so it seems, accepted that drafting and development are the only way forward. The Hockey won't be amazing but at least we won't be lied to any more about being contenders. Odds are even for us, is that some of our long shots will actually turn into something.

If Benning can draft the next 2 or 3 drafts, similarly to how he drafted in 2017, I think we will be just fine. If he can acquire more picks and draft like he did in 2017, even better.

Have you learned not to respond to him so that we don't need to scroll past 10 pages of him arguing with himself?

As always time will tell with the drafting but it looks good so far, it also always looks good at this point. I'm happy as long as he still keeps adding picks and holding onto youth.

Just call him on how annoying he is or tell him to not reply to your comments like Marwood.

He's gotta hit on an absolute stud superstar player in the next three years though, outside of that one great player the team is chalked full of complimentary players with a few "good" players mixed in.

If Pettersson is as good as I hope/think he will be, then that alleviates some of those concerns, but they're still there.

If he doesn't add picks to maximize his opportunities I think he's doing a bad job. Last year was an example of how I'd like the next three years to go!

My hope is he can really hit home runs with his high draft picks in the next few years. Once we start to get better, we won't be contenders right away, I expect a few years of being mediocre/bubble before we ever contend. We will be back to 10th-20th overall and obviously the likelihood of getting elite players in that range drastically lowers.

They need a superstar center and or defensemen to turn things right around, barring that, they maintain a middling team.

100%. IMO, they have 3 more years of probably have higher draft picks, and Benning needs to hit a couple home runs with those picks before we start falling out of the top 10 picks in the draft.

Took you a while to come around to the fact that this is a poor team and will be for years to come.

Remember these gems you posted at the beginning of last season...

"people who think this seasons roster is worst than last seasons don't know hockey "

I received a few of those from you. There was a time when you were head cheerleader of the Pom Pom gang.

Edit: The "B" stands for Team Benning.
