You can only eat so much salary. Youre essentially needing a playoff contender to have a bunch of salary open which near never happens. I think its near impossible to trade 2x 7 million cap hits to the same team, salary retained or not. Im hopeful, but realistic

Like half of the first rounders in the 2017 draft were all under 6 feet tall. The game is getting faster and more skilled, it only took Benning a few drafts to acknowledge and focus on these needs

I really doubt the Sedins will become "marginalized" either, the three best forwards on the team are still Henrik Daniel and Bo Horvat until proven otherwise. Coach Green is not going to lose on purpose by putting less than his best out there.

Having said that, if some of the kids take advantage of opportunities you may see the Sedins ice-time reduced, OR, later in the year they'll most certainly be reduced as they look at kids like they've done for the past two years #tank.
