I take very little seriously except for the worth of my teams players.

Do know that the Blue Jackets did try to acquire Duchene. The Avs are looking for a first round draft pick, quality young defenseman, a proven NHL player and a top prospect. Would that mean Ryan Murray and Boone Jenner?

4 pieces for a player with a career 60 point a season forward? I'd trade Tanev, Granlund and a 3rd for him.

Sakic is trying to put the Avs back into PO contention with one trade? Bloody disaster as a GM...

8 pts in 58 NHL games this past season shows us exactly where this club is heading with guys like Magma.

Better than Gonch though.

For a few seasons he was absolutely dominant.

Flyers still suck though.

Wavering is my least favourite quality in a GM, try to get your deal but after a while time is not in your favour. The longer this drags on, the longer it takes to start building - similar to many people's opinions of the Sedins.

Joe Thornton was traded to SJ in 2005 in an awful deal but 6 years later they hoisted the cup based on moves they made after the fact, not based on the players they directly acquired in the move

While I like what the Habs currently have on their roster, I hate how bad MB has mortgaged their future for now. I understand the reasoning, you have the best goalie in the world in his prime, but man are they going to be bad once price is gone.

They are trying to be though. Thats what I am saying. They are completely mortgaging their future to win with him now. I still don't think they are anywhere close to the top of the eastern teams as far as talent. I actually think they might even be a bubble team if Price stays healthy all year, and would miss the playoffs if he gets injured.

Goaltending is such a unique position. A random goalie gets hot at the right time and can lead a team deep in the playoffs. You build through the middle and on D in my opinion. Wingers and goaltenders are less important. For that reason, I think MTL is doomed for the duration of Price's contract.

Drouins going to be a really good player, but man I am not sure you give up Sergachev while already giving away Subban and your defensive prospects cupboard is bare. Juulsen and Mete are your promising D prospects now? yikes..
