Even if you're really bad at drafting or the draft years kinda suck for quality nhl players, eventually it will work out for you

Really why wouldn't you kick tires on a player like that.

I think the fact that it was kind of leaked that Kerfoot would get more ice time because something was going to happen, just lowered the price of Duchene a bit more.

Otherwise Sakic's rationale will be in question again and probably his job status also.
