Interesting that Canucks dont want Juolevi to try out some pro games on a ATO. For the record I like the pick long term, so this isnt whining about his selection, and I understand them wanting him to get a longer offseason of training in. I just find it interesting that Jake Bean is reporting to Charlotte, Sergechev, McAvoy, Chychrun, all taken after Juolevi will have some taste of a professional level by year end

The guy has played so much hockey over the last year and a half. He already plays a pro style game all needs is to bulk up. I think rest and adding strength is more beneficial for him. I like the move.

Thanks Carol for bringing up Thornton's drop in points from 82 to 50. We are all over the Sedins for being 40-50 point guys now but no one mentions guy like Thornton...another reason why I didn't think SJ would get back to the cup final.

Plus Thornton is a bit of a tool and I would like to see him retire cupless

Growing up in Van as a kid the Mariners had as much if not more exposure than the Jays (with Seattle so close) and that being said they both started in MLB in the same years 1977. Cheered for the Expo's before that and this whole 'Jays are Canada's team' is a load of horseshat. Nothing wrong with a boatload of Vancouverites being Mariners fans from that era.
