This entire show is in his head.
Would it really surprise anyone if the final scene of the season is them pulling back from his face to find him lashed to a bed in a hospital with all this season's characters being the doctors and nurses taking care of him. - mayorofangrytown
It would surprise me immensely because it'd be a narrative cop out and cliched beyond belief and would effectively have led the show nowhere in the season. And this show is too creative for that. That's a way to make viewers feel they wasted their time and turn them off entirely. Last episode was basically them toying with that idea, and even then they basically acknowledged right away it was not reality. I am confident that what we're presented with in Summerland is reality. Of course his memories are still a ?. With all the stuff with the Astral Plane now and whatnot, it'd just be a real stretch to say it's all not real. |

You had to know it was the Flyers' night when they announced Dale Weise had scored that goal. |

You seem to get flustered by criticism of the team. Like no criticism of the team is valid because the GM and coach know more than everyone. |

It would surprise me as it would be a real 180 from the original comic - BiggE
You think this is from a specific comic run?
I'm not familiar with more than two characters in the entire show. |

Like it or not, the Devils will win a boring-ass 2-1 game.
Because the Flyers can't have nice things. |

Sorry it seems that way but it's not true. Beating a dead horse is annoying so I do things to entertain myself and (hopefully) others. I don't like some things the team does and I do like some things the team does. I just choose to not dwell on the negative.
I'll yell out a "shoooooooot!!!!!1" in your honor tonight. lol |

I read a reviewer call it a completely untrustworthy narrative. He loved the show but said since the entire narrative is from Haller's perspective (and he's insane) that the lack of cohesive reality on the show would turn most viewers off.
So, although I highly doubt the ending I put forth, much of the show is indeed happening inside Haller's head. It's shaking out what was real and what wasn't by the end of the season that's going to either pull it together or fray my nerves. |

I (frank)ing hate Enid. Her character is not even close to Lydia from the comics which is kinda what they were going for. She makes me so angry ughhhh |

It's untrustworthy, but it's more to serve a plot than just to pull the rug out Newhart style. I still think reality is indeed anchored with the main characters besides David. Here's what I think needs to and will be addressed in the last couple episodes, at least partly:
- The full extent of David's power. Because it could/should get batpoop. It's where next season will surely spring from. I am still not sure where they will go with his personalities and powers, because we've only been presented rudimentary stuff and the Devil with Yellow Eyes, who is an actual separate consciousness it appears.
- What exactly is Old Yellow, and what does it specifically want with his power. What memories did Old Yellow want to hide -- specifically about the stars, since they've brought that up a bunch. Spoiler: in an alternate version of next week's promo, they specifically call him...bum bum bum!....the Shadow King.
- David's father ofc
- More about Oliver. He's becoming more of a presence and is in next episode a lot it appears.
- More about the Eye
- What is the maze, and who is Wyatt? |

Another person with vast intelligence is Craig Berube. I read he is a member of Mensa. They did a study at Harvard, and they found that being punched in the head thousands of times leads to genius level IQ. I hope I never have to match wits with such a savant. |
