Love it. So that's about as clean a hit as you can see and of course a bruin goes after Manson after it. I'm surprised it didn't end in a fight as per usual response.
I'd love it if the league gave a stiffer penalty to those who instigatefights after clean hits. Kick the player out and give the team 5 min penalty or something like that. It's so stupid.

Im sure it will happen eventually. The end goal is to have no fighting.
The sport already has a fraction of the emotion it had a decade ago.

I had a very strange dream where we traded for Jake Muzzin last night.
I don't hate the deal as much as you, because I think it means they clearly don't want to play Noel. The thought process behind why the actual deal is terrible is correct though. I liked him on the team

Well, they only have 65M in cap space next year so it's understandable why they wouldn't want to pay him

Was Tanner in it? - YuenglingJagr
nope
Unfortunately I don't remember the deal itself. But it felt so real. I woke up and checked my flyers updates confused

I wasn't a fan of the deal myself, but I understand it I guess. I was hoping another deal would stem from Noel's. I was surprised it was Noel instead of Okafor with how much interest Okafor was drawing in the rumors from Lakers, Celtics, Pelicans, Pacers, and Bulls.

The deal is a (frank)ing travesty. I don't care if they had traded Okafor for a used jockstrap, it still would have made more sense than trading Noel. The Coangelos are (frank)ing clueless.

I saw the best tweet... Non-Hinkie fans were furious when he would trade garbage players for 2nd round picks. Heres Colangelo trading good players for second round picks.
Crazy terrible deal for the Sixers.
The only thing that will be worse is when he goes out and signs Rudy Gay to a max deal in the off season.
So, it looks like 2 Shattenkirk deals have fallen through due to his refusal to negotiate an extension. According to his agent, he is insistent on testing free agency. This makes me wonder if the Blues just decide to hang on to him for the playoffs then swap his rights prior to the draft. If that is the case, it would hopefully, at least slightly, increase the value of Streit to a contender.
