Vesey will snap out of it. Not a bad idea putting Grabner on the 4th line, he seems to be the guy out of Vesey//Lindberg/Fast/Puempel/Pirri that is least dependant on his linemates. A 4th line of Grabner Boyle Puempel could be very affective while dropping Vesey to play with Miller and Hayes.
Obviously we would have to see what Tampa would want for Boyle, but that's a 4th line that has 50 goals by the end of the year and plays very RESPONSIBLY.

I think Larry Brooks is a moron for picking on a rookie. I agree Vesey has tailed off but you do not make it to the nhl by being scared. I think Jimmy is just going through a rookie drought and AV is playing him through it. A seat in the box for a couple games would not be a bad thing. Grabner is skilled enough to play on any line but I would like to see him on line three with Miller and Hayes. |

Columbus, Pittsburgh and Washington all lose!
Vesey has hit a wall, but I am not worried about him playing scared or anything like that. I do think a couple of games off could be a good thing for him though. |

Perhaps the hit in Buffalo Brooks alluded to rattled a few teeth. But the notion Vesey is playing scared is ridiculous. Clearly, he's hit the wall, the NHL schedule is a grind for the most seasoned vets, let alone a player coming out of college in his 1st year. He can use a breather for sure. |

There is a good bit of logic going into what Brooks said. |

Rangers have probably played the most road games too tho, so that stat might be misleading |

Vesey has played more games this season than he has in college, takes time to adjust to the NHL grind. Time off during the ASB should refresh Harvard.
Nice to have the depth problem, eh? |

Rangers have played the same amount of home and road games, 24. Several others have played more, led by Boston, who have played 28 away from home. |

Best thing I can say about L Brooks ..................................................
we will have 33 games left after tonite ...i dont see NYR trading any of the young fwds unless its a complete morons move of a trade and cant be passed on
like Trouba for Hayes straight up ..may be a draft pick is added
Then u have to make the trade .....
J T Kreids Zbad Vesey Buchny Hayes are untouchable if u ask me
Zucc ? i would have to for a top 2 D man
Nash Step ...for the right price...I do ! But its more of an after the season deal
G man Staal Klein : after the season 1 stays 1 bought out 1 traded maybe by deadline....
I M O ; unless we get a sweet deal to make ..I E Holden for #4pick ? i dont see us reaching out to trade ..... |
