No offense. Dont give me Coots as your 2nd center anymore just like I dont want to hear Raffl and Read are first line wingers.
Team HAKed around the ice.
Nothing at all exciting about what the FLyers are now.

I would say that maybe Hexy does something but I just dont see it happening..

pretty sad when the fans chant lets go sixers

Same formula as recent games... play decently for a while, then get a bad break, and fall apart mentally, making some of their own bad breaks.

While this team isn't the most talented in the league, it's got enough talent to be competitive almost every night... their problem now is mental... they're really fragile... how does that get fixed?

This team is an embarrassment

A month away from the trade deadline...time to clean house? Get rid of the dead weight and bring up some of the youth.

It's a team wide issue.

-There's a slew of players that haven't had a goal in more than 10 games, including Giroux.

-They seem very fragile, they have a bad break or have a bad call go against them, it snowballs and they get buried.

-They've become very predictable in the OZ. They're not generating enough "high danger" shots and chances. They get very few rebound or second shot chances, as well. They seem to be forcing the puck out to the point for deflection chances and teams are now concentrating on blocking shots out high & mitigating the effectiveness of point shots getting through/deflections.

-The goaltending remains subpar. Mason or Neuvirth will make a spectacular stop or three, then get beat clean for a stoppable goal. It starts to feel like every mistake ends up in the back of the net.

The good part is that they are controlling or holding their own for large portions of the game. They just need to adjust and adapt, and raise their execution level. Hopefully, they can do it soon and without a trade to "shake things up". I'd rather wait things out than make a short sighted trade just to reach the playoffs this year, anyhow.

It just doesnt work the way Giroux is playing.
I dont get Coots not producing.
I dont get Jake not producing.
Wayne has gone cold but since he is the only player on the team that plays with any emotion oh look he dropped the gloves.
Schenn , did he even play?
I dont get the goalies both sucking enough to cost them games.

Do I want to make a trade just to shake it up? Nope but something has to change.

We need to seriously tender offers for couturier. He's looking like a bust more and more.
Let Mason walk or make it a priority to trade him at the TDL.
Trade anyone like Read or Raffl at the TDL
finally we need to do our best to get a top 5 pick this year

I think it's pretty much been decided that Hexy isnt gonna do anything. I dont think he really viewed this season as anything other then getting the prospects exp at the AHL level.

My guess is next season and the one after he may actually do something.

Awesome Jake just flew up the ice , skated past 2 people and did nothing.
Dont even consider trading Coots..After 7:18 but before 8:12 on the third tuesday of every month he leads the league in points..

IM so over the top 4-5 players on this team..Would include Wayne in that right now but hey he is our only fighter.
