Wideman is a anchor to any Dman that has played with him Gio, Dougie or Brodie. Only as strong as your weakest link Put Dougie on with him and watch his numbers drop.

& here I thought Brodie was weighing Wideman down. I see Calgary live often being a season ticket holder in both Calgary & Edmonton. In the games I have watched Calgary play where Wideman has played he has been 1 of there best players.

I thought Wideman has been playing a little less like an anchor lately, been making some smart/good plays. That powerplay goal was 100% Wideman, good stick check by him (it helps when he knows that Brodie is back there waiting and has the speed to break most anything up).

Brodie hasn't been awful, but he's certainly playing below our expectations.

From what I remember he didn't do to well the last time we went there...but I think it was near the start of the season when he wasn't doing to well anywhere he went.

With Wideman you get what you get. He's slow with an offensive upside. I think he's been average this season or no worse than Jokipakka. I am not so optimistic about Elliot, but am about CJ Nice to see Ferland show-up last night...

Yea I think the Flames should just keep CJ going
Elliott has not played well regardless of what the defense is doing in front of him...he shows time and again that he'll let in a softie and that often breaks the back of this currently fragile team
Some you can't blame on Elliott, but if you're a starter you have to occ make the miracle save and help the team gain momentum....its the same defense playing in front of elliott and johnson
