But seriously as HC goes Canucks have little options right now that can make a real difference a lot is on the players and some on JB. WD gets no passes either and like Makita has said will be the sacrificial man at some point if there is no turn around.

That said if WD survives I see that Canucks will be bringing in someone else as HC sometime next year post TDL or pre draft.

Well Pedan is double-shifting and they're both very tall, so I can see Nik getting more minutes than that simply as a result of confusion.

Standing in front of the net and getting cross-checked is usually a winger's job. After all five defenders break their sticks trying to move him, it would be a bit more difficult for them to get the puck out of their zone.

This road trip can be salvaged if we beat the Leafs. Nothing else matters.

I hate some to many of WD's decisions, but it is just as frustrating that among the forward group, for the last while, we have lacked grit and scoring- we are seen as one of the easiest teams to play against and can't score. This was the same before hiring of JB and WD.

When AV started here we were a dump a chase team, our forward group improved and we became a possession team. We no longer have that same skill in the lineup and we have gone back to dump and chase. Not sure if we can push the play very much anymore, nobody wants to shoot, don't want to lose possession, keep passing and the offense fizzles.

Come on, beat Toronto, someone get hot.
