Right about now it doesn't matter who or what age or where they come from, somebody has to start putting up goals.

That's why I'm hoping this season will end that win now mindset, it's a shame that it will occur after they signed LE to that boat anchor of a contract.

I was adding to you previous post not placing you in any category.

That said yeah this team is in a funk and doesn't have a lot of fire power to break out of it either.

The team or coach may need to win now but the roster isn't an old veteran laden stagnant team that has no future. Everyone no matter their viewpoint on what this team should do or is doing believes it needs more talent. Which will come from development of what we have, drafting, trading and UFA's. That said doing all that takes time as you said plus good descisoms from coaching and management and a little luck too.

Time is the biggest factor. we all see where we want to be, but it is going to take a while to get there. Still don't think this market could handle a full on tank. Guys call for it, but the casual fans and revenue will all but disappear since it is already down.

We are in transition, BB in the lineup might help a bit next season, but then you have to wonder if the guys that look like they have taken steps will be around still or not. Sven has to get going. I'm less worried about LE.

Well Burrows is 35, so I assume he wasnt included in the 28 over 35, its much worse if he was
Replacing Miller/Burrows with 20 year old Boeser and 21 year old Demko just to really drop the average

If Donna isnt going to use him in the top 6, Hutton needs to go to the AHL and play defense there until hes good enough to come back and play forward in the NHL. Cant let him rot on the bench like this, unbelievable

I can possibly see WD double-shifting Pedan because of his experience as a forward. Not sustainable game in game out though.

I like Stecher better in the middle. Also allows Tryamkin to use his size along the boards.

Same switch for EG & Larsen

Tanev has no offensive instincts. Let Biega center him and Sbisa on the 4th line. Actually no, scratch that. If he's a 4th line role guy then WD would use him in last minute, come from behind situations.
