Could we please get rid of Dorsett so Willie can't continue to overuse him in situations that are beyond his skill set? If you're going to put him on the ice when the goalie is pulled, you'd be better off using Tryamkin as your 4th forward. May as well put the one-man crowd in front of the net to create some chaos.

Same for the power play. There's nothing creative or threatening about it. If the Sedins insist on making stationary passes back and forth with no other movement, and you don't have someone who can launch bombs from the back end, having Tryamkin in front will at least tie up a defender or two at the net so Daniel or Sutter might be able to bang in a loose puck.

I agree he has looked okay in the offensive end, but at some point you have to convert looking okay to goals. Same could be said with every member of the Canucks obviously though.

I can't see a coaching change helping much, if there is one, predicting WD might last until November 19 when we have a game against Chicago and 4 days off until the first game, the start of a road trip.... the games are so close together.

I'm wondering if it is just effort? Dorsett works his butt off and WD isn't seeing the same effort from others? It is a bit challenging, but we saw the puck go around the horn without anyone shooting in the dying seconds of that game.

Karlsson interfered with Horvat on a net drive so Bo knocked his hat off. Scrum ensued. Should have been a Canuck power play based on the interference and roughing by Karlsson, and additional involvement with Horvat by Methot. But of course the Senators came away with a power play.

Burrows works his butt off too and I'd wager he's more likely to convert on an opportunity than Dorsett ever will. So it can't be attributed to effort, nor should you be doing that at the NHL level. Each guy has a role on the team and you use them for it. Willie appears to be seeing something in Dorsett that just isn't there.
