I've seen the inside, but only what we see on TV. I know the views suck, but I was wondering if it's state of the art or some poop. I haven't actually been there

the views only suck if you're dumb enough to buy one of the obstructed tickets for no dollars

the original design included hockey, but after years of the neighborhood (mine, btw) and others fighting against an arena being built on top of peoples homes who were being eminent domained, gehry backed out and the isles/wang got nervous. the investors then hired a crappy group to design the current rusty mop bucket arena w/o hockey in mind.

unless they built it at the end of your street and tore down freddy's bar and a whole bunch of peoples houses. then it becomes not so good.

i don't care that the habs are playing back to back. you don't leave your goalie in for 10 goals. ever. goddamn (frank)ing disgrace. if price were the starter tonight and montoya slated for tomorrow night, i guarantee you that he's gone by the 5th goal.

my natural response here is the flyers will get shelled like 7-1 tomorrow night, but i really don't know. i really want to see them get the lead and hold it. it has to happen eventually, right?
