so who makes Edlers sticks and where do i get one? |

Good blog as usual, thank you Carol.
Tanev skated around in a fog during the Anaheim game even before he had the additional hit. Seems like the teams are still hesitant to follow protocol. |

THANKS Carol.... nice insight on Tree.... wonder if we will see him in a game now that Tanev is out a minimum 7 days.... guess Stecher is here until Tanev is healthy and by then we won't know what other injuries the Canucks may have.... |

Pratt said back on season opener he won't be back until January at least given that type of injury.... the no timetable now has a minimum strength recovery which will take him into the end of the year add in conditioning and timing stint to catch up he won't be effective until TDL and that sucks cause this is the hardest part of the schedule and they may be out of it by then.... so other then what we have a trade or waiver wire pick up is needed if they want to improve the top 9.... as JV doesn't seem to be getting that opportunity |

You think he lost value over ankle injury...? Or did you want to trade him now for offensive help..? |
|
|
|
We will see how tommorows game goes, if they don't come out flying and put in 110% then the alarm bells should be going off, they have had 3 days between games so no excuses. The last 2 games the schedule caught up to them imo so win or lose lets see a good effort and get back to playing like they did when they were fresh. |

I think he's becoming (is) fragile. Especially vs the western teams. Might be a problem for us moving forward if they guy can never seem to stay healthy for a full season anymore. |

I would say yes to McIlrath. 800k, 24, mean and fights/hits. RFA at seasons end. |

Why not take a flyer on either Paajarvi or McIlrath? Change of scenery, system? We all know how AV likes young players? STL is a lot stronger than us. It would also give WD more line/roster shuffling options.

I always thought that was a strange idea that AV didn't give young players a chance. He brought lots of young Canucks into the fold and look at his roster right now, full of youth.

Possible he's not a beefy guy and puts his body out there a lot on tough minutes so it's a valid concern .... maybe a sell high trade will be better given the glut of guys on D that can play. Wound a E Kane trade straight up work... ? Don't know who is on the market that would help forward needs long term.... |

They need skill a lot more than they need toughness. Honestly after watching these first 7 games do you think the issue is that they are not tough enough? |
