Our GM doesn't understand the trade deadline so don't get your hopes up.

That contract as well is pretty damn impressive.

So a 4th for Hansen with salary retained

Oh yeah and contending teams usually have the top guys already and if you want a guy that can go up and down the line up or give you solid minutes on the 3rd line a guy like Hansen would be good and probably would command a good return.

Hey if Daniel F'n Winnik gets a 2nd rounder and Connor Carrick

Jannik Hansen should get us more than that.

Don't forget Brooks Laich!! Winnik was the gift that kept on giving for the Leafs : he was actually a good guy to have on the team though, nice honest player. Gave it everything

Good morning!

New blog is up. Canucks stick with same lineup tonight as Tuesday against Ottawa, including Ryan Miller back in net.

I might be the minority here, but I think the Canucks should pickup Pulkinnen. He has only seen limited ice time in Detroit but his numbers are incredible. His canon of a shot would be an immediate help on the PP (where he was used on the point). He is also very cheap. I would sooner see Skille/Burrows in the press box and see a 4th line of Pulkinnen - Gaunce - Dorsett.

Wild gave up on him quick too... is it because he's not quick enough to get shot off...? But hey at this point I'd put him with the Sedins as a trigger man if only they were able to gain them blue line .... like with a Stecher type penetration .... who knows .... are we digging for scraps...? Anyway doubt Canucks will do anything.... they are all about skating ability now
