And you are definitely not one of those that make intelligent or respectable comments. You have consistently made bullpoop offers of something like Eberle or Nuge for Methot and a 3rd and tried to justify it with bullpoop like Edmonton needs d so it solves both teams problems. And you consistently do it. Over and over and over.

You are not wanted in the Oilers thread. I honestly think people would rather have Cloutier back than have you post one more (frank)ing time. Take a hint. Stay the (frank) out of the threads pertaining to the Oilers unless you have something intelligent to say. Your stupid NHL 17 esque trades will not happen and none of us want to hear your fantasy deals to make Ottawa better. Go lick windows, you are not wanted here.

"Eberle or Nuge for Methot and a 3rd" sounds like another day at the office for Chiarelli!

Has Lucic been playing with McDavid? Fantasy hockey question. Thanks

"Hall is the best LW in hockey"

Trade him

"Cancer in the dressing room, glad he is gone"

"Yak playing well with McDavid"

Trade him

"addition by subtraction the guy is a bum"

- flashfire

I will always hate the Hall trade, however Larsson and Klefbom do look like a good first pairing and that alone will go a long way to helping the Oilers take the next step.

I don't think Hall was a cancer but I do think that his ego was going to become an issue especially when the Oilers would have named McDavid captain over him.

I have always hated having Yak on this team. He never fit from day one and I still think we should have taken Ryan Murray.

I could see Yakupov putting up 20 goals this year and being a + player this year also.

new faces, fresh start, less pressure.

Or it could be another bad year and he is put in the press box for Rattie, Jaskin, Ferraro, etc..

He has to play well in order to play. Hopefully that will push him in the right direction.

Either way i am happy with this trade.

Gives Rattie more incentive to try harder. Rattie cannot catch a break with Hitch though it seems. MPS has been given more of a chance but really he hasn't even been given a chance either.

Blues new 3rd line
Yakupov Perron MPS whoever can play center should just take it over ha ha

- BluesDroogie

They'll give him every opportunity to play alongside either VL or PS. So either way he'll probably be paired with a center that can actually get him the puck. Outside of playing with CM, Yak hasn't really had a good center to play with. No one is confusing Lander with Logan Couture.

getting a 3rd is crappy value - no way around that
I know I get to you enough to write a false statement under your screen name ... but atleast next time I say they should of take a D-man instead of an enigmatic russian, you wont argue

- AlfieisKing

(frank) off! Nobody cares what you have to say or wants you here. You just talk such stupid poop. You and Hallfan should go start your own thread.

And yet 4 months ago you would have gone ballistic if anyone spitballed hypotheticals like "Hall for Larsson"or "Yak for a conditional 2nd to make cap room for Kris Russell."

I will grant you that the team has been converted from rosterbation fodder that can't crack 75 points into merely a below-average NHL team with upside.

Wow! Win one playoff series in 30 years and all of a sudden you're all high and mighty. Beat it

Mars bars are quite delicious, I must admit. It ranks up there as one of my favourites. It's been so long since I've had a Twix... Now there's a bar I could go for right about now.

I am pretty sure he had chances with Nuge as well. Not going to say I watched him as much as these guys but besides a great shot (that did not have great accuracy) he was not really able to play hockey. By that I mean he was unable to see plays develop or find something useful to do without the puck. Making it pretty difficult for the guy to develop chemistry with any decent players and only a guy like McDavid was able to make enough plays to put Yak in position.

Unless, he is an amazing player who is so resentful at Oil MGMT that he has played uber crappy hockey on purpose for 2 years just to get traded for nothing and make the Oilers look bad......which seems to be the argument of some people here? I don't get it.

I obviously didnt watch every game either, but I don't think he was given much time with RNH? Partly because RNH was oft injured and partly because Eberle has been his primary winger... Even though his value was non existent it sounds like his defensive game had improved and he is fairly fast... With the injuries the Oilers seem to suffer through year after year it may not have been a bad idea to keep him around, even if he wanted out. If the Finnish kid doesn't work out they're pretty thin on the right side?

I am wondering if Alfie is not just a computer program made by RC to post mindless drivel and relentlessly troll the Edmonton thread as revenge for ruining his life. Laughs can you do some research into this?

Your questions are beyond my Oil knowledge. From what I have read here he had every chance to get things rolling and could never produce.

Hey Matt, what did you expect the oil to get back? Just because you and the other yak supporters value him, doesn't mean chia and the rest of the league does. thats two players oiler fans valued and thought the oil could get a better return, and didn't.
Maybe it says more about the organization than the player, but that's twice this has happened. I could never understand why yak, being a young and fairly wealthy man, didn't spend a long off-season, working on what he's not good. We all know that he has tons of skill, but unfortunately he's never had a team that could take a vantage of that. If I don't understand why he wouldn't spend the time in the summer and hire guys, skills coach, that could teach him what he lacks. It's not like he's a 29yr old trying to find his way.
I don't blame the player for being taken first overall, but I do think he should've took a step back, acknowledging what he's good at, and fiercely working on when he's not.
Even Taylor Hall started to turn things around on the defensive end. To top it all off, I think it's clear that the oil are not a deep enough team to use someone with his skill set. A team in St. Louis, and even Chicago, have players that can make up for a lot of his weaknesses. We don't. I wish yak nothing but the best, and I hope he finds his game.

No one likes you, youre an annoying uniformed commenter who tries to pass oneself off as an informed oiler fan. When really you are unwelcome in all threads, annoying as hell trying to bring up trades with the sens eventually.

No one wants hit in their threads since you're a cockroach of a commenter. So kindly fist off and go find another random thread to explain why you're sen okayers are good and why a team should trade for them

If Yak scores 25 - 30 with St Louis this season Chirelli should be strung up along with the rest the management group.
