hopefully someone who is somewhat reliable and every backup game isn't an automatic loss

I would be up for trading one of our goalies (not named Schnieder or Blackwood) for prospect; I would want to avoid the big names to prevent to many moving parts. So, if Toronto were to offer a guy like Dermott, Nielsen, or Valuyev I would be open to a trade.

The Leafs can't sign a goaltender until they know if they are getting Vesey are not. They already have 47 contracts which is way too many.

But Vesey is not a goalie!

It's particularly refreshing to see a guy who supports a team that finished dead last, and that has made the playoffs once in the last decade (1st round loss) trash talk other teams' fans.

It's a carry forward from late last nights thread when 5 people were saying the ridiculous thing I said above and I was the only one who knew it was ridiculous. So my above statement was meant to be as dumb as they come.

He would take a better prospect to get than Kinkaid imo, but I doubt he wouldn't be available for the right price. I think, with the Devils having just lost Larsson, they would be looking at defensive prospects.

It's relevant to this blog and I was hoping to see if the morning crowd had more sense. I'll let'er go. It's tough when you are 100% right and EVERYBODY else disagrees with you. Start questioning if I'm on a never ending acid trip.

Leafs don't have very strong D prospects so no fit there. That's Toronto's biggest hole in the prospect system right now
