Streit - Schultz were the 1st pairing dmen at their age. More mobility and skill is needed. Provorov will help. Gotta believe Hexy will be fishing for another dman in free agency.

I don't think we'll see anything crazy. Maybe a Streit trade but the return won't be too great.

Defense isn't. You don't know it yet...but this team isn't built to peak with Giroux in his prime

We all know the teams struggles in the SO. I truly enjoyed this year. Some high periods and lows but overall it was great. The team is still in transition and we all have to remember that. Especially going into next year.

I think with the offense going forward they either need a more natural offense orientated 2nd line C or another truly good winger to play with Couturier.

Proud to be a Flyers diehard fan, great effort. All I can say is the nhl is a joke with what they call officiating. Ovi knee on knee with Ghost, Simmonds manhandled by a guy who lost his stick, Voracek tripped and high sticked, all no calls and Flyers got called for almost nothing, very frustrating. Then again the NHL lets Hawks, Caps and Pens get away with everything, disgusting! Great game by many Flyers, Gagner and Cousins showed they can play, only negative is Jake has to wake up, what is wrong with that boy? Played dumb, clumbsy and brain dead hockey for the entire series, and hit the net once in awhile would help.

1. romo doesnt suck. can dislike him all you want. but he simply doesnt. however, he is 36 and becoming increasingly brittle. so yeah. i do agree with you. i just dont think dallas is ready to acknowledge it.

they can get a gamebreaker on defense at 4. ramsey/bosa.

When have you ever heard about a prospect pool like Ghost, Provorov, Sanheim, Morin, Koenekny on the way prior to this season?

Officiating has been brutal. Putting the whistles away is one thing. The inconsistency is just horrific. Every fan I think would agree.

As well as trying to balance out the calls in a game. It gives the NHL a very amateur feel. Watched with the girl today who isn't huge into hockey. Her main points were about "why is that a penalty and why is this not one"... Stuff like that.

he's elite defensive talent but our issue this playoffs was lack of scoring

Honestly think they dislike the Flyers. Criticism is one thing, but they get such joy out of it.
