Two to three years from now when some of the youth should be here it's a different story.

lenders would have put him through the (frank)ing glass. he hit harder than ovechkin does and was all around better player, imo, not that that has anything to do my point.

the flyers are undersized, no doubt. gudas is probably the most likely guy to be able to hit him and perhaps cause him some pain.

i'm desperate for morin to pan out. and i hope he gets at least a shot next year, if he doesn't make it out of camp.

That is because you have become too fond of glorious defeats. Implicitly, I think most Flyer fans prefer glorious defeats to clinical victories.

I admire their spirit, but don't really see why that should be all we get.

Obviously there needs to be changes...upgrades. the 2nd, 3rd and even 4th lines need upgrades. the defense needs upgrades. the only area I am happy with moving forward is Mason/Neuvirth. but you aren't going to get blood from a stone so I refuse to be pissed off that they may be eliminated in game 6 to the top team. Hextall took over, what, 2 years ago? he has the team going in the right direction. He got rid of Pronger's contract and Vinny. he has been behind drafting some really talented players. does he have a lot of work to do? for sure. But I believe in what he is doing.

i dont understand why people arent giving that absence as much acknowledgment as it deserves.

with him out, something has to give. giroux either needs to play much tougher minutes, which is undoubtedly going to negatively impact his offensive ability. or you're going to have to rely on guys like gagnier in spots that you know damn well they can't consistently handle without being totally hemmed in their own end.

The inconsistency is really amateur.

It's prevalent in the regular season but I think most teams would agree that it's been absolute trash in the playoffs.

Do these guys ever get fired? Can't remember if it's ever happened.

it's frustrating. we have a talented group of top line players and they have generated absolutely nothing.

I think this team is freaking spent. Giroux esp. guess this is why its probably not a great idea to have him kill penalties and play 25 mins a night or whatever he averages. he is a small guy and he gets abused. they need more depth. I mean, granted Coots is hurt, but the 2nd line is has consisted of 93-12-89 and 10-89-12 and whatever other variation. Cousins, who I love, is their 3rd line center. Gotta think he is more of a 4th line guy. One of their best PKers can't win a damn faceoff. they have major holes and are spent if you ask me. they have to work their asses off to generate anything. I love what they did this year. I love that they made the playoffs. if they go down in 6 to the caps this has all been gravy
